As part of the VictorianPlumbing.co.uk Group, we have massive ambitions and a strong foundation for success. We're looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Marketing Executive to be a pivotal player in our growth story.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll own the execution and optimisation of our key digital channels - Social Media (Organic & Paid) and Email/CRM. If you love getting stuck into the detail of campaign management, analysis, and community engagement, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing: Your Core Responsibilities
You will be driving awareness and conversions by managing the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of our digital marketing channels:
Social Media (Organic & Paid)
- Develop and implement an organic social media strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Digital Content Creator to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Work with the Digital Content Creator to plan a content calendar, including videos, images, and other assets for social media channels.
- Occasionally attend shoots to support content capture, provide input on creative direction, and ensure assets meet campaign requirements, only when required.
- Set up, manage, and optimise paid social media campaigns, primarily on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram), ensuring alignment with the Marketing Manager’s strategy.
- Collaborate with the Digital Content Creator and Graphic Designer to obtain the correct assets for ads.
- Over time, support expansion of paid campaigns to additional platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest.
- Manage day-to-day operations of social media platforms, including scheduling, posting, and community management (monitoring, responding to, and engaging with audiences).
- Ensure all social media content is on-brand, with consistent tone of voice and messaging.
- Conduct social listening and sentiment analysis to inform content strategy and engagement.
- Monitor and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the development and management of User-Generated Content (UGC) initiatives, including identifying opportunities, encouraging community contributions, and integrating UGC into social media campaigns.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Support the planning, execution, and optimisation of end-to-end email campaigns, including copywriting, building, testing, scheduling, and deployment.
- Develop and execute an A/B testing roadmap for email campaigns to continuously improve engagement, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Utilise the company’s ESP to manage subscriber lists, build targeted segments, and ensure data quality.
- Set up, analyse, and optimise CRM automation campaigns to improve engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Maintain awareness of CRM and email marketing best practices, compliance requirements, and emerging trends.
- Align email campaigns with broader marketing and brand trading plans.
Content & Copywriting
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for social media, emails and website articles.
- Publish content and articles on the company website using our CMS, ensuring formatting, links, and SEO best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with the Digital Content Creator and internal designers to ensure creative assets are accurate, consistent, and campaign ready.
Planning, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Manage content calendars and timelines for social media and email campaigns, optimising schedules to maximise reach and engagement.
- Provide monthly reports on social media and email performance, including metrics, analysis, and recommendations.
- Assist in aligning all marketing activity with brand objectives and overall campaign calendars.
- Stay up to date with trends, tools, and best practices in social media, email marketing, and CRM.
- Suggest and test new marketing approaches and tactics to improve and conversion.
