Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour

Attendance Bonus: Earn up to an additional £200 per month!

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 AM – 17:00 PM

Main Function of the Role

Are you looking for a role where you can really make a splash? We are looking for a reliable Goods In Warehouse Operative (Returns) to join our Skelmersdale team.

Unlike standard picking and packing, this role is all about the "inward flow." You’ll be the gatekeeper of our returns department, ensuring every item—from designer taps to luxury vanity units—is handled with care, inspected with a keen eye, and processed with "porcelain-perfect" precision. Key Responsibilities

• The Deep Dive: Receiving and unloading inbound return shipments, checking for any "leaks" in quality or transit damage.

• System Refinement: Using our Warehouse Management System to log returns accurately, ensuring our data flows as smoothly as a power shower.

• Quality Grading: Conducting thorough inspections to decide if a product is "Grade A" or if its ship has sailed, categorising items for resale or refurbishment.

• Problem Plumbing: Identifying discrepancies or "murky" returns (incorrect items or missing parts) and reporting them to the management team.

• Maintaining the Flow: Keeping your workspace organised and hazard-free, ensuring the returns bay never gets "clogged" up.

Skills and Experience Required

• A "Polished" Eye for Detail: You can spot a hairline fracture or a missing washer from a mile away—accuracy is vital.

• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse software (no "plumbing" in the wrong data here!).

• Solid Work Ethic: We need someone reliable who won’t "throw in the towel." Our £200 monthly attendance bonus is waiting for those who show up and shine!

• Physical Resilience: You are happy being active and on your feet, capable of manual handling tasks within a warehouse environment.

• Professionalism: Fluent written and spoken English to ensure all technical reporting is crystal clear.
