Head of Marketing
Following a phenomenal first year of establishing strong momentum, we are stepping firmly into our next chapter of rapid growth at MFI. As a cornerstone of our retail group, we are scaling fast—and we are looking for a commercial heavyweight to lead our marketing team.
If you live and breathe retail, know how to balance brand prestige with razor-sharp performance marketing, and want to help shape the future of a household name in home retail, this is your moment.
What You'll Be Doing
Stepping well above day-to-day campaign management, you will act as the strategic linchpin between our CMO, Executive Leadership Team, and a brilliant internal team of four (including an established Marketing Manager). You'll own the commercial targets, the creative vision, and the tech stack that keeps us scaling sustainably.
Drive Commercial Growth: Own and govern key metrics including CAC, LTV, and cost-of-sale efficiency, ensuring every pound spent fuels profitable expansion.
Shape the Brand Identity: Sharpen our core narrative, set the tonal and visual bar, and oversee major hero campaigns, packaging, and unboxing experiences that turn casual shoppers into brand loyalists.
Scale the Infrastructure: Direct our MarTech architecture, future-proof our first-party data strategy, and manage our external agency ecosystem with absolute accountability.
Lead Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Finance, Product, and Operations to ensure commercial margins, inventory lifecycles, and promotional calendars align seamlessly.
Develop Talent: Mentor and grow our existing team while mapping out our medium-term hiring roadmap.
What We Are Looking For
We want a commercially minded, creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
E-Commerce Expertise: Proven experience scaling an e-commerce brand, ideally within furniture, homeware, home improvement, or a related high-value category.
The Dual Threat: A rare blend of creative vision—someone with a sharp eye for design and world-building who can brief and challenge top-tier creative work—backed by a deep, data-driven grasp of performance channels.
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success managing substantial budgets, diversifying revenue channels, and negotiating high-stakes agency partnerships.
Hands-On Leadership: A proactive, solution-focused mentor who loves building high-performing team cultures and aligning cross-functional teams.
Why Join MFI?
High Impact: A genuine seat at the leadership table where your strategies will directly dictate market share and brand trajectory.
The Scale-Up Journey: The backing of an established retail group combined with the fast-paced, agile energy of a high-growth brand.
Flexibility: Based out of our modern offices in either Leyland, Skelmersdale or Birmingham City Centre.
Ready to make your mark? Apply now with your CV and a brief note on why you're ready to lead the MFI marketing team.
